EXECUTION

on the claim under Article 23 Surrender Law (OLW) filed by the prosecutor with this court. This claim is dated June 5, 2019 and concerns, among other things, the consideration of a European Arrest Warrant (EAW).

This EAW was issued on May 22, 2019 by the investigating judge at the French-speaking Court of First Instance of Brussels (Belgium) and seeks the arrest and surrender of:

[claimed person]

born in [place of birth] (Albania) on [date of birth] ,

Without permanent residence or domicile in the Netherlands,

detained in the [place of detention] ,

hereinafter referred to as the claimed person.
1 Process

The claim was heard at the public hearing on August 1, 2019. The examination took place in the presence of the public prosecutor Mr. U.E.A. Weitzel. The claimed person waived in writing his right to be present at the hearing and was represented by his authorized counsel, mr. W.E.R. Geurts, lawyer in Maastricht.

At the hearing, counsel reflected on the court's ruling.

The court extended by 30 days the period within which it must rule under Article 22(1) OLW because it needs that extension to decide on the requested surrender.
