Ms. Anna Rus studied criminal law at Utrecht University. Already during her studies, as vice president of the criminal law store, Anna devoted herself to helping people who came into contact with criminal law. As a member of the pleading committee of the criminal law and criminology study association, she participated in several pleading trainings, where she acquired important skills early on.
Immediately after her studies, Anna began her career at the Prosecutor's Office of the Scientific Bureau of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. She later worked as a court lawyer at the Amsterdam District Court within criminal law and for the International Legal Assistance Chamber (IRK). This gives Anna a broadly developed knowledge of both Dutch and European criminal law and she knows the ins and outs of the administration of justice. This enables Anna to assess cases from all possible perspectives.
Anna has been part of the team at Weening Criminal Lawyers since August 2023.
