1 Process
The claim was heard at the public hearing on August 1, 2019. The examination took place in the presence of the public prosecutor Mr. U.E.A. Weitzel. The claimed person waived in writing his right to be present at the hearing and was represented by his authorized counsel, mr. W.E.R. Geurts, lawyer in Maastricht.
At the hearing, counsel reflected on the court's ruling.
The court extended by 30 days the period within which it must rule under Article 22(1) OLW because it needs that extension to decide on the requested surrender.
