Two individuals attempted to rob a store in Beek on the night of Monday to Tuesday.

The two perpetrators entered the store on Els Street and threatened the staff with a firearm. "In the end they took nothing and no one was hurt," a police spokesperson informed.

A search for the perpetrators was conducted via Burgernet on the night of Monday to Tuesday. People were advised not to take any action against the perpetrators themselves.

Nothing is known about their direction of flight. No suspects have yet been apprehended.
