After more than one year, police on Wednesday arrested a 20-year-old Maastricht man who allegedly raped a student in his hometown. On Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, an unknown man climbed into the room of an international student through a window. This happened around 5:00 a.m. on the Lage Barakken. Once inside, he groped the victim and raped her. Since then, the perpetrator was without a trace.
