The two suspects in the stabbing Thursday night in Heerlen are a 17-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man. A 22-year-old man was slightly injured in the stabbing.

The two suspects are still in custody and are being heard. The altercation occurred around 02:20 on the Pancratius Square. The victim has since been treated for his injuries.

The investigation into the brawl is ongoing. The police want to know what happened immediately before and during the brawl. To that end, camera footage has been secured and several witnesses are being spoken to.
