PT The Limburg District Court has decided that a residence in Weert does not need to be closed. The mayor of Weert had previously decided to close the residence for three months because of the discovery of drugs, but the court ruled that this measure was no longer necessary.
The owner of the property lives in the house with her two adult sons. Following a report to the Criminal Intelligence Team (TCI) of the Limburg Police on July 1, 2023, the residence was searched on July 2, 2023. The report indicated the presence of several kilos of cocaine and hemp and plans to rip off this batch from the criminal circuit.
