'Suspect in picture in Andy de Heus disappearance case' (NOS.nl)
Police and justice in Limburg suspect who is behind the disappearance of Andy de Heus from Echt. Limburg newspapers report that it is a man from Sittard, who is currently detained in Germany. He was reportedly arrested there for drug offenses.
Market trader Andy de Heus disappeared on Dec. 18, 2012, on his way from Echt to a restaurant in Nieuwstadt. His gray Volkswagen Caddy was later found burned out in Belgium.
A body was found in a fishpond in Stevensweert, near Roermond, last Thursday that appears to belong to the missing Limburger.
In connection with the disappearance, a 52-year-old woman from Belgium was arrested a month ago. Police would not say whether she had anything to do with the disappearance of Andy de Heus.
