An 18-year-old Roermond man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for the robbery of a chip shop in Sittard on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
Earlier, a 17-year-old Sittarden man was arrested for the robbery of the eatery on the Guillaume Franquinetstraat.
Suspect in more cases
In addition to the robbery at De Baandert French fry store, police believe the young man has more on his record. Among other things, he is suspected of a home burglary in Sittard last November.
Group of robbers
Police previously informed that more suspects were likely involved in the snack bar robbery. Important in the villain hunt for the police was a green Opel Corsa. It was found some time after the robbery.
Multiple arrests are not ruled out.
