HELMOND - A 26-year-old Polish man has made a confession about his role in the murder of his Helmond girlfriend (47). The woman was found dead in her home at Volderhof in Helmond on May 11 this year. The man is not coming to the Netherlands for the time being because he has yet to serve a heavy sentence in his home country.
Presumably, he will not be released until 2011. Only then can he be extradited for trial in the Netherlands.
Already in early June, the Pole was arrested by Polish police because he was still serving a sentence for a previous conviction.
