NEW VENNEP - Police do not yet know exactly what happened at a residence in Nieuw-Vennep, where early Tuesday morning a man, a woman and a child were found with stab wounds. They are a 51-year-old man, a 45-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl.
They are "more than likely" the residents of the house on Lichter Street, according to police. The stabbing at the residence happened around 5:30 a.m.
The trio was taken to the hospital. They are doing reasonably well under the circumstances, police said Tuesday afternoon.
Police launched a major investigation.
