MAASTRICHT - The Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) is going to prosecute a 49-year-old man from Brunssum for lewdness with six underage girls. This was announced by a spokeswoman of the Public Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday.The man is alleged to have interfered with the children between the ages of seven and fifteen at the time between 1999 and 2006. The abuse took place in Brunssum, Schinnen and Kerkrade.
According to the prosecution, the victims came from the suspect's family and acquaintances, or came into contact with him in his positions as a lifeguard or special education cab driver.
The Brunssumer must appear in court in Maastricht Dec. 18.
