In accordance with the defense of Ms. J.J.H.M. de Crom, Mukaddes O. was acquitted of murder June 18 by the Almelo District Court. With counsel and the prosecution, the court held that not the 40-year-old woman, but her co-accused shot at the victim causing the victim's death. Nor does the file show that Mukaddes O. was involved in the shooting as a co-perpetrator.
