Mother dead toddler Vaals released for now (L1.nl)
The mother of the toddler killed in April in Vaals has been released for the time being.
According to the Justice Department, it is not necessary to detain the 29-year-old German woman during the investigation. She does remain a suspect in the case.
Her 3-year-old son died under suspicious circumstances in a home in Vaals on April 17. According to the mother, she was in the basement while her new boyfriend was upstairs in the residence with the child. When she went back upstairs, she found the little boy dead at the bottom of the stairs.
Her boyfriend, with whom she had only been in a relationship for a few weeks, committed suicide a few weeks later. The woman was arrested in Germany after the death of her child. In May, she was extradited to our country.
