LANDGRAAF - Two Landgraven men (ages 31 and 48) have confessed to sexually abusing a now 15-year-old boy from Kerkrade with a mental disability for years. The duo is charged with lewdness and possession of child pornography. The two are acquaintances of the boy's family. The Kerkrade case came to a head when the family guardian of the teenager, who resides in an institution in Bunde, reported sexual abuse. One of the two men from Landgraaf appeared to have been caught in the victim's room just before. In the cell phone of the victim, who stated to police that he had been frequently abused from the age of 12 to 15, thousands of text messages and photos were found, many of which were sexually tinged. These allegedly showed a "sexual relationship" between the teenager and one of the suspects.
