There is no other explanation for the violence exercised by Thijs H. than the psychosis he was a victim of. This was stated by criminal lawyers Job Knoester and Serge Weening during the pre-trial hearing on March 26, 2021 at the Court of Appeal in Den Bosch. According to them, no (other) motive is conceivable. Thijs did not know any of the random victims. He is not a psychopath who derives pleasure from committing violence.
