Rates
Our rates depend on the nature and scope of the criminal case. The following options can be considered:
Legal Aid
If your income falls below a certain income threshold or if your pre-trial detention has been ordered, you may be eligible for the assignment of a lawyer. This publicly funded legal assistance is commonly referred to as a pro bono lawyer. We would be happy to inform you about the possibilities.
Hourly Rate
You pay an advance (each time) and declarations are made based on an hourly rate that generally varies between €200 and €500 excluding VAT.
Fixed Price Agreement
You pay a single fixed amount in advance that covers all the work. This eliminates any uncertainty about the final fee due. For a police court case, we generally charge a fixed rate starting from €1,000, excluding VAT and travel time. For a criminal case in the full criminal court, we’d be happy to make a suitable price agreement with you.
Performance-Based Hourly Rate
You agree with the lawyer on a fee for a favorable result and a lower fee if the result is disappointing. Please note: this is not a “no cure, no pay” agreement.
We also Work on a High Trust Basis, the most Important Foundation for Collaboration between the Council and Legal Aid Providers.
