PI Zwolle consists of two locations, south 1 and south 2, and has capacity for approximately 350 inmates.
We have various regimes for both men and women: a remand center, prison (for long and short-term sentences), ISD department (institution for persistent offenders) and Extra Care Facility (EZV). Additionally, there is a penitentiary psychiatric center (PPC) for men and women.
Our advice / tip
Never make a statement to anyone from the police before consulting with a lawyer: not as a suspect and not as a witness either. This also applies when the police officer is not sitting at a computer. The police may write down everything you say, even when you’re not in an official interrogation situation.
