The Judicial Institution Caribbean Netherlands is an essential organization located on the beautiful island of Bonaire. This location is of great importance as it serves as a house of detention and a prison not only for Bonaire but also for Sint Eustatius and Saba. With an impressive capacity, this institution can accommodate up to 113 individuals from various backgrounds, including men, women, foreigners, and minors. In fact, this institution is referred to in the local Papiamento language as Institushon Hudisial Karibe Hulandes, ubicá na Boneiru. Since October 10, 2010, the JI Caribbean Netherlands, Bonaire location, has been under the careful management of DJI, ensuring the best possible care and supervision for those residing within its walls.
