Joycelin B.'s case must be heard again by the court. The 66-year-old woman, also known as Aunt Joyce, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for manslaughter of her cousin.

The nephew was killed in Amsterdam in 2011. His body was found in the home of Joycelin B. It was wrapped in a rug and over his head was a garbage bag. The victim had been hit on the head with a hard object. What exactly happened in the house has never been clarified.

Joycelin B. and her co-defendant were initially sentenced by the court to 15 years in prison. Later, that was reduced to 10 years on appeal. Now the Supreme Court has remanded Joycelin B.'s case.

Joycelin B. ran a shelter for the homeless and addicts in Amsterdam. She has always denied that she killed her cousin. She called him her favorite cousin and submitted a request for euthanasia because she did not want to continue living after his death.
