Wife Bobo Jalloh made up that he wanted to send son to IS (Limburger.nl)
Bobo Jalloh from Landgraaf was murdered in 2017 at the behest of Jalloh's wife. She allegedly told one of the perpetrators that Jalloh was preparing his son for IS jihad and was going to marry off his 8-year-old daughter in Africa. This was stated by one of the suspects, it turns out on the first day of trial.
"I would like to give such a bastard a beating." That is what Brunssummer Hub M. stated to police about Bobo Jalloh, when he had heard from his wife that Jalloh would be a pedophile, send his son to Islamic State and marry off his young daughter in Africa.
Crush
The intention was to crush Bobo Jalloh's hands, but not to kill him. Now it appears that wife Hadiyatou D. lied to the husband. The son was only one and a half and there was no question of marrying him off either.
In six interrogations with the police, M. has always stated that he stabbed Jalloh in self-defense. In his seventh interrogation, however, he stated that it was not he but his accomplice Dave G. from Geleen who supposedly stabbed. "I always said to Dave 'I'll take it all on myself,' because he had saved my life and he was rebuilding his life," M said.
Sixty grand
M. was connected to Bobo Jalloh's wife through Hans R. in Landgraaf. She wanted to get rid of her husband, possibly because she was being mistreated. She promised M. and contact R. both sixty grand for getting rid of Bobo Jalloh. Among other things, she would pay that money from the sale of their house on the Koempel in Schaesberg.
Bobo Jalloh's now 17-year-old daughter has stated to police that she saw parts of her father's murder. She has also indicated that she saw white packages containing drugs. Hub M.'s statement shows none of this.
Declare
A total of four people will stand trial starting Monday: Hub M. from Brunssum, his accomplice Dave G. from Geleen, the contact Hans R. from Landgraaf and the widow Hadiyatou D. from Landgraaf. Except for R., all are in pretrial detention. The wife has indicated she will make her first statement at the hearing. G. and R. are also still going to be questioned by the court.
Children
Three session days were set aside for the substantive hearing, but it became clear at the beginning of the first session that it will take longer. The lawyers for the victim's children were not given enough time to prepare a claim. Only when that is pronounced can the prosecutor formulate his claim. The defendants' lawyers then have to respond to that in turn with their pleadings.
