Stabbing by defecating dog (Telegraph.co.uk)
A 55-year-old man from Maastricht is in jail for stabbing the owner of a dog in his city. This is confirmed by his lawyer Françoise Landerloo. The animal constantly defecated in the suspect's backyard. This caused a hefty brawl between the two men.
Suspect B. saw the dog in question defecating once again in the lawn behind his apartment house on Monday night, to his own horror, and decided to express his displeasure about this in firm terms.
In response, the dog owner decided to seek redress. During a scuffle in the gallery, he was stabbed by the complaining man and had to be taken to the hospital. Here he was treated for a severe cut on his neck.
Françoise Landerloo, lawyer for the Maastricht man in jail, indicated that her client is suspected of attempted manslaughter. "He was indeed fed up with that dog shitting in his yard again, but denies that he would have stabbed the victim."
