When you submit your case to our cassation desk, it is thoroughly reviewed by one of our specialists. This gives you an expert, realistic, and reliable view of your case. Afterwards, your case will be discussed within the team of cassation lawyers. This way, your case is examined from multiple angles. If, in our assessment, your case is suitable for filing cassation grounds, these grounds are drafted by two lawyers specialized in cassation. Both lawyers will work together to achieve the best possible outcome for your case. <\/p>\n\n

Unique to the cassation desk is that we examine whether your criminal case is suitable for filing a cassation petition with the Supreme Court for a fixed fee. Additionally, the lawyers of the cassation desk meet weekly to discuss ongoing cases, ensuring your case always receives attention from a full team of cassation specialists. They are also up-to-date with the latest developments in legislation and jurisprudence. Two lawyers from the cassation desk are members of THE association of cassation specialists in the Netherlands: the VCAS<\/a>. Our cassation lawyers have already filed numerous successful cassation grounds in their years of experience. <\/p>\n\n

Costs of Cassation Desk<\/h2>\n\n

Of course, our cassation desk assists suspects on the basis of legal aid. In common parlance, this is also called \u201cpro bono\u201d. If you qualify for this, you only owe a personal contribution. The remaining costs are paid for you by the Legal Aid Board. <\/p>\n\n

Don’t qualify for legal aid? Then we can offer you an attractive fixed rate of \u20ac750 excluding VAT for the work of the cassation desk. For this rate, we delve into your criminal file and look at all possibilities in the cassation phase. Should there be, in our professional opinion, possibilities to file cassation grounds, we will contact you about this.
