The court has jurisdiction to administer justice in the first instance within its district. This means that the court is the first instance to give a legal judgment on a case or conflict. After that, a party to the proceedings can appeal. The appeal cases of the Limburg district are handled by the ‘s-Hertogenbosch Court of Appeal, the Central Appeals Tribunal (social security and civil servant cases) or the Council of State (other cases in the field of administrative law, with the exception of tax cases). <\/p>\n\n
